Rocky Ridge Designs offers a unique “Timber-Truss” roof system either as full trusses or “do-it-yourself” hardware kits. The hardware kits include all truss hardware, steel plates/brackets, beam detail drawings, layout tool plates, assembly manual, and an example floor plan drawing package. These truss systems, for SIP or stick framing, are targeted for energy-efficient homes planning for ENERGY STAR® or LEED for Homes® certification, (or even Passive Solar homes)
Our "TIMBER TRUSSES" use:
  • Appearance grade, Southern Pine, GluLam Beams, precision pre-cut & pre-drilled
  • Laser cut, powder-coated steel truss-plates & high-grade hardware
  • Mounting brackets for 4’ to 6’ spacing for framed or SIP walls
  • Interconnecting ridge & bridge beams
  • For SIP roof panels or 2x6 tongue & groove decking
